Lost-wax precision casting, also known as investment casting or lost-mold casting, is an advanced casting process capable of producing complex, high-precision metal components in a single operation. The core process involves: first creating a wax pattern identical to the final part, then repeatedly coating the wax pattern with refractory materials to form a robust mold shell. Once the mold shell hardens, the internal wax pattern is melted and completely burned out by heating, resulting in a hollow precision cavity. molten metal is then poured into this cavity. After the metal cools and solidifies, the mold shell is broken to retrieve the metal casting. Finally, post-processing steps like cleaning and polishing produce the finished product
